The Fostering Youth Success Alliance identifies, researches, and monitors issues that affect children and youth currently or formerly in foster care across New York State. We mobilize communities and advocate for improved policies, greater resources, and better services.
We are governed by a steering committee composed of advocates, providers, and young people from across the state committed to improving the outcomes for youth in foster care. The steering committee is charged with overseeing, strategizing, and implementing FYSA’s initiatives and aligning efforts across the state. The Alliance is led by Children’s Aid, and its research partner is the Community Service Society.
